Well, Kaegan was quite excited to have a snow day, but Weston only wanted a two hour delay!! Of course Kinsley still wanted to have school, so we read Clifford's The Little Red Sled, The Snowy Day, and Huggly's Snow Day. She always has to do a craft so she made a snowman out of marshmallows. After all of that was done we started the quest of finding all the snow stuff to go play in the snow. We finally gathered everything up and got bundled up and started our snowy walk. We made it halfway around our neighborhood when Kinsley decided she was cold and wanted to come in. (that's my girl) While on our short walk we saw our neighbor and his son shoveling the driveway and Kinsley said to me, "Mommy we're not shovelers are we? We don't like to work just have fun!! Boy have I raised that girl right!! Ha! Ha! After we got all of our snow gear off it was time to make hot chocolate with the Cocoa Motion! It has to be one of my favorite gadgets (and boy do I love small kitchen appliances) It makes the best hot, frothy cocoa at home!
While all this was going on Kaegan went to a neighbors house and Weston drove to a friends house to watch a movie. I was a little nervous to let him drive in the snow for the first time, but he raised a good point he will be off to college next year and he should probably drive in it before he goes. I did make him call me when he got there.
I will try to post some pics. later...if I can figure out how.
Enjoy the snowy day,
Amy
